Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports as young as 14 years old. She studied kickboxing, boxing and wrestling prior to making her first amateur appearance at WCFC before Jaimee Nievera. Ladd later went on to beat three times within a row in Ultimate Reno Combat. All of the opponents she defeated were finished within the first few minutes. Then she returned to WCFC and beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen was already defeated Silvia Baeghian and Maddy Simmons, before taking against Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia beat Aspen in a unanimous vote. It left a blemish on her record as an amateur. Ladd defeated Roma Pawelek on Tuff n' Uff and improved her amateur record from 8-1 to 8-1. Aspen started her professional career in 2015, signing with Invicta FC for her professional debut. At InvictaFC 11, she had her first professional bout. She was a rout of Ana Carolina Vidal, securing an 1st round TKO. Invicta Fc 16 was her debut fight in the Bantamweight division. She beat Amanda Cooper with an armbar during the second round. Aspen employed her impressive grappling skills to defeat McGill and then ended the fight with a the third round TKO(elbows or punches). Aspen continued to face Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 with a weight at 138.1lb. Ladd was not capable of achieving the weight however, Aspen was victorious and defeated Hoy via TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her last bout for the organization. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks be defeated in a unanimity. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to make her debut. She fought Linalansberg at UFC Fight Night 118. She dominated Lina by grounding and pounding her before prevailing by TKO in the second round. Her dominance continued and she scored a more impressive win in her subsequent fight with Tonya Evinger, at UFC 229 Ladd defeated Evinger in the opening round and got a performance of the night bonus. Ladd fought in her debut big fight at her debut fight at the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Ladd took home the unanimous decision after an intense back and forth battle with the fighters, got an award of Fight of the Night bonuses. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie beat Ladd within 16-seconds, ending her win streak. Then she bounced back and defeated Yana Kunitskaya in the third round at UFC on ESPN 7. In a recent match replacement for UFC, Norma Dumont was her opponent. She was beaten by a unanimous decision.
