Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp has been a Canadian actress for many years. The actress is famous for her roles in the film industry and on television. Her fan base is large in American as well as Canadian television. Emily began acting at 12 after she had a visit with her elder sister Katie in one of Katie's films. Once she had realized that acting was her passion, Emily began to learn how to act and auditions. She was initially cast in commercials, but she was not cast until being offered a role on the Canadian kids' horror TV show Are You Fearful of Darkness? The show had one episode in which she did not speak. Her first major break at the age of 15 when she was cast as a regular in The WB series Glory Days. Emily's performance in the show by WB Glory Days, which was canceled after nine episodes, attracted the attention and interest of Greg Berlanti from Dawson's Creek. Also a ballet dancer and photographer, Emily was once listed by Teen to be one of their best actors under 20. Maxim ranked her 51st on their Hot 100 of 2014.
